Rescue
Mission Red Baron Style
The main scenario is having a plane
land on a German aerodrome to pick up a spy disguised as a German soldier. This
plane will be a two holer with front guns and a rear gunner. The rear hole will
be unoccupied so that the spy jumps in when the plane is on the ground. He then
uses the gun against enemy planes.
Allied fighters will escort the
rescue plane.
German fighters will scramble from
the aerodrome to shoot it down.
If the rescue plane succeeds in
landing, take off and stay aloft one minute, the Allies win. If it gets shot
down, the Germans win.
Rescue plane: Bristol_F2
Escorts: CD Camel
Germans: KK or CSq Fokker DR1a (Red)
Scenery: Flanders with Flak
Aerodrome: Jasta-15
HOW WE PLAY IT:
- Only one team, last alive.
- Use of enemy indicator cone prohibited. That way you
have to recognize airplane before shooting. Use of CFO and RW also
prohibited. This is to make game more realistic.
- All participants are launched at the vertical of
Jasta-15.
- The Germans land on Jasta-15 and type "down".
- The rescue and escorts go west as far as 6000 yards
going down to 1500-ft. altitude. If they reach that position before all
Germans are down, they circle waiting for the attack order.
- When all Germans are down and allies are in position
the game master type "attack".
- Then the rescue and escorts fly to Jasta-15 and the
Germans scramble to meet them and try to shoot down the rescue plane.
- The rescue plane is allowed to use front guns only
until it has landed.
- All pilots take turns as Allies and Germans.
- If you crash on landing, no second chance. So it is in
your interest to practice your landings. Also, keep in mind KK Code of
Conduct.
